Case Study: Branding & Design for a New York-Based Handbag Company

Challenge:
A new handbag company in New York aimed to capture the attention of stylish, trendy young men and women in a highly competitive fashion market. The challenge was to create a brand that reflected the fast-paced, fashion-forward culture of New York while appealing to the unique tastes of a youthful, urban audience.

Approach:
We developed a brand identity that embodied the energy and style of New York City. The logo was sleek and minimalist, with modern typography that conveyed sophistication and edge. We chose a bold colour palette of orange and black, reflecting the city’s vibrant yet gritty aesthetic. Handbag designs featured clean lines and functional details, balancing style with practicality for on-the-go city life.

To connect with the target audience, we focused on digital-first marketing strategies, including a visually striking website and social media presence. Along with a recyclable look book. The website was designed with a minimalist aesthetic, featuring high-quality images of the handbags. We also leveraged influencer partnerships and street-style photography to showcase the bags in real-life settings.
